Reformation Day Party Pictures

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that certainly applies to celebrating Reformation Day. On October 31st every year, churches and families gather together for Reformation Day parties: gatherings filled with food, fun, and fellowship aimed at understanding, remembering, and celebrating God’s work at the time of the Protestant Reformation. After explaining how to throw a Reformation Day party, I reached out to families for pictures of what they were able to put together for the event. The responses were incredible: ideas ranging from classics like Diet of (Gummy) Worm treats and Pin the Beard on the Reformer games all the way to Wittenberg door piñatas and Papal Bull bonfires—I was impressed, to put it mildly! Whether you’re new to the idea of a Reformation Day party, or a veteran to the concept, I have no doubt that the joy and creativity evident in the following pictures will inspire and encourage your own efforts. Soli Deo Gloria!
